Three things now run on your own machine rather than a server: prompt enhancement, smart suggestions and voice transcription. Those are the parts of the work you touch constantly, which is why moving them matters more than the headline number suggests. They respond instantly, they keep working offline, and what you type or say stays with you. Cloud fallback is there when it is needed.<\/p>\n

Video editing moved locally too, and the list is longer than the phrase suggests: merge, trim, speed, crop, collage, filters, text overlay and compression. All of it processes natively in seconds. Two months later, when you need to know how something was made, the answer is filed with the file.<\/p>\n

Results also leave the window as real OS files. Drag them into Finder, into Figma, into Slack, into anything that accepts a file, with no export step in between. It works in reverse as well: right-click any file already on your computer and open it in the Playground.<\/p>\n
